  1. Lashondra, my father was diagnosed with paranoid schizophrenia when I was about two years old. We were taken away from my mother due to abuse and neglect. I am the oldest and a lot of the responsibility of taking care of my siblings was put on me. I also lived in an orphanage and foster homes. I took care of my dad when he was bed ridden for two years before he died in 1991. My mother ended up a paraplegic at age 39 from a car accident. She was in a wheelchair for 16 years and she died in 1987 at age 57. I took care of her some of the time as well.
I published a book of poems on November 5th but even with all of the social networking I have done only one book has been sold. A friend of mine, Elvira, told me it would be good if I could get your help to market my book.
My book is Titled: “The Chill Turned Warm.” You can read the reviews at http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00PB62T0C/
There are things I would like to tell you but not on here.

    • Bonnie thank you for reaching out to me. It’s always a blessing for me when I can converse with people who has been through what I am going through. It means you understand.

Elvira is awesome. I will thank her for referring me. I will make sure to contact you concerning your book. B.T.W. I erased part of your message. Even though this is the internet era, I still like to keep certain things personal! God Bless You and Happy Holidays!

  3. Lashondra,
I decided to donate most of the proceeds from the sale of the paperback version of THE CHILL TURNED WARM poems by Bonnie Gail Carter.
I want to put a smile on the faces of the forgotten children in orphanages and foster homes.
Help me spread the word. It is available at http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00PB62T0C/
Thank you and best wishes for your continued success.
    Bonnie
